During the 2020 Place-in-Shelter resulting from the COVID-19 virus, many businesses were forced to close doors and pause their business. Many businesses decided to shift and focus on e-commerce and so did the non-for-profit Rebuilding Exchange (RX).
In order to support RX the UIC EPD class has decided to produce products and services to be sold on their new marketplace website. When I heard about our new class mission, I noticed an unusual amount of tin cans around my apartment (fewer grocery trips).
I had to find a way to repurpose these cans so I thought why not fill it with scented wax and put the candle back in other people’s homes?
